Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA)

The Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) is a non-profit, self-regulating professional organization for art therapists. It was founded in 1977 by Dr. Martin A. Fischer, a psychotherapist practicing art therapy.  The purpose was to unite and promote the emerging profession of art therapy in Canada.

Canadian Association of Psychoanalytic Child Therapists - Ontario (CAPCT)

Psychoanalytic child therapists provide assessments and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and families who have disturbances in thinking, feeling, or behaviour that interferes with healthy development.

Canadian Association for Spiritual Care / Association canadienne de soins spiritual

CASC/ACSS is a national multifaith organization, committed to the professional education, certification and support of people involved in spiritual care, pastoral counselling, education and research. We provide educational programs for interested persons who are preparing to become professional providers of Spiritual Care and Pastoral Counselling in a variety of institutional and community settings such as health care, corrections, education and private practice.

Canadian Humanistic and Transpersonal Association

The Canadian Humanistic and Transpersonal Association was formed in Toronto on Feb 1, 2009. The CHTA supports the integration of spirituality, humanistic values, holistic philosophy, energy therapies and traditional practices.

Music Therapy Association of Ontario (MTAO)

The MTAO is a provincial chapter of the Canadian Association for Music Therapy, the national body promoting music therapy and supporting, advocating and accrediting music therapists in Canada.

Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy (CAST)

The Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy is a member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy founded by Jungian psychotherapist Dora Kalff. CAST provides a comprehensive training program that focuses on developing specific therapeutic competencies, and meets the minimum requirements for international certification.
